I am a passionate individual aiming to become an epidemiologist. Ever since I encountered the field of infectious diseases and their societal impact, I have been driven by a desire to unravel the mysteries of disease transmission and prevention. I envision a future where I can contribute to the overall understanding of health crises while emphasizing the importance of preventative solutions. I aspire to be at the forefront of public health working towards a healthier and safer world for all.
I was a member of the Girl Scouts of the USA from the Summer of 2015 to the Fall of 2021. Our goal was to understand the importance of sisterhood and helping one another to contribute to society. Throughout my years of being a part of this organization, I obtained my Silver Award by assisting special needs children and planting flowers with them, I guided younger girls into growing independently and achieving their goals, and gathered meals as well as clothes for the homeless. Through the organization's emphasis on character, leadership, community involvement, friendship, skill development, confidence building, and strong values, Girl Scouts equipped me with essential tools that continue to influence my choices, relationships, and overall well-being. The experiences and lessons learned during my time as a Girl Scout have undoubtedly played an important role in shaping the person I am today, helping me develop qualities that extend far beyond my scouting years.
