I served as a liaison between residents and faculty to address issues concerning resident wellness, hospital efficiency/workflow and educational satisfaction. I also worked with other resident members of the council to identify areas of improvement in the graduate education curriculum, inpatient and outpatient rotations and patient care; and initiate community service endeavors.

I served as an advocate on behalf of ACP-Alabama Chapter in the two-day advocacy event where I discussed ACP policy priorities with Alabama legislators.
