Appalachian Service Project
ASP, or Appalachian Service Project, is a week-long volunteering trip that helps people in the Appalachian Mountains fix their homes. I have volunteered with ASP for two years, 6/2024 & 6/2025.
Experiences From ASP:
- Collaborated with team members to implement improvements and enhance living conditions in people's homes.
- Learned to operate hand tools and power equipment under supervision to support building activities.
- Assisted in site preparation by clearing debris and organizing materials for construction projects.
- Assisted in daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to guidelines.
