AWARDS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

BLS and ACLS certification; NIH stroke certification, 2021 Daisy Award

Daisy Award Winner 2022

A team of nurses was awarded the daisy award because, due to a pre-clamptic patient arriving to the ED, then needing emergent care.  Once the patient was intubated in the ER for airway protection, she was taken for an emergency C-section. She then came to the ICU where she was very closely monitored, and started on medications to manage  her blood pressure. Through extraordinary collaboration among many different departments, the patient and baby were able to be discharged safely and happy.
