  • Provided Counterintelligence advice and assistance to the G2. Developed and facilitated Counterintelligence and HUMINT training for division Counterintelligence personnel and two subordinate elements.
  • Provided Counterintelligence assistance to division-level field training exercises, as well as conducted pre-deployment training in preparation for European Command (EUCOM) deployments. Served as the unit coordinator for the 1st Infantry Division Counterintelligence probationary program (CIPP).
  • Supervised the development of the 1st Infantry Division G2X Standard Operating Procedures, which improved reporting procedures and information dissemination for future field training exercises.
  • Trained subordinate brigade’s HUMINT personnel on Counterintelligence capabilities to enhance Soldiers’ ability to identify Counterintelligence indicators while conducting military source operations in EUCOM Area of Responsibility.
  • Mentored two probationary Counterintelligence agents to complete CIPP 30 days ahead of schedule through diligent coaching and counseling.

  • Conducted two combat deployments to Afghanistan - Kandahar Airfield (KAF) from May 2014 to February 2015 and Bagram Airfield (BAF) from June 2016 to February 2017.
  • Planned, managed, and executed Counterintelligence operations to neutralize Counterintelligence and Force Protection threats within the Area of Responsibility.
  • Facilitated Counterintelligence support to personnel tasked to conduct train, advise, and assist missions on KAF and BAF, which significantly increased my team’s collection capabilities.
  • Acted as a mentor and training agent for four junior Counterintelligence agents; served as the evaluating agent for three probationary Counterintelligence agents.
  • Directed the response of over 300 force protection incidents; conducted 100 separate force protection investigations; neutralized 227 direct force protection threats to KAF.
  • Developed the first counterintelligence, force protection, and law enforcement working group on BAF, which greatly improved collaboration across 15 federal and DoD agencies.
  • Managed Counterintelligence Screening and Biometric Enrollment of Afghan National Army (ANA); conducted over 50 Preliminary Credibility Assessment Screenings in conjunction with screenings. Neutralized over 20 identified insider threats to ANA soldiers.
  • Worked with the ANA Counterintelligence to develop a robust insider threat program. ANA Counterintelligence subsequently neutralized 15 insider threats within their ranks.

Counterintelligence Special Agent

  • Assisted in the planning and execution of Counterintelligence operations designed to neutralize international terrorist organizations and foreign intelligence activities directed against the Army.
  • Conducted liaison with senior military and civilian leadership at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as provide support and guidance to local commands under the covering agent program.
  • Participated in the Fort Drum Threat Intelligence Fusion cell. The Department of the Army subsequently awarded Fort Drum with the distinction of Best Anti-Terrorism Program 2013.
  • Personally trained over 2,000 Fort Drum soldiers and civilians on the Threat Awareness and Reporting Program.
  • Fostered relationships with additional cleared defense contractors which had not previously existed. This increased the field office’s coverage of critical Army technologies being developed in upstate New York.
