- Developing and assembling Procurement Data Packages (PDPs) for new contracts and/or new delivery orders in support of DoD and other government customers consist of the following steps: reviewing Statements Of Work (SOWs), interfacing with contractors to obtain pertinent information, such as labor categories and rates, material requests and travel destinations, researching Wage Determination for the work locality to ensure the labor rates provided by the contractor do not violate the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 22.10, verifying travel requirements meet the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), utilize the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database on-line to verify the contractor’s mailing and physical addresses are correct and to ensure the assigned North American Industry Classification (NAIC) code(s) meet the scope of the SOW and developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) utilizing labor, material, travel requirements obtained from the contractor, reviewing records and/or past technical experience and background in a variety of computations and knowledge gained from past efforts of similar scope.

- Maintaining a database consisting of all labor categories and hours billed by individual contractor. This database is compared against initial estimates for use by the COR for the life of the requirement.

Another duty I had was to direct the team I was a part of to complete tasks by a certain deadline. The last task I had to do was make sure that the info and product that the truck drivers delivered were proper and not a mistake.
