Work History

Director of Facilities, Fleet, & Safety

Bond Distributing
Baltimore, MD
01.2001 - Current

I began my career with Bond Distributing in the Draft Service Department and was promoted to Draft Manager in 2007. In that role, I managed four full-time technicians and 10 subcontractors responsible for servicing approximately 2,000 accounts, along with supporting special events. I was responsible for ensuring our draft systems were properly maintained, our team had the resources needed to support our customers, and service issues were addressed quickly and efficiently.

In 2017, I was promoted to my current role. During my first year, I significantly reduced operating costs while building strong relationships with both existing vendors and new vendors I brought into the company. I also implemented necessary changes to improve our operation, reduce expenses, and better support the company's overall goals.

As part of my responsibilities, I managed the day-to-day operation of our equipment and worked closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure we had the proper equipment and staffing to complete our daily tasks. This included managing trucks, trailers, forklifts, order pickers, and other operational equipment.

At the same time, I served as the sales representative for both the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens. In this role, I managed product inventory and rotation, worked directly with both organizations to ensure adequate product was available for each event, and introduced and sold new products into their operations.

In 2019, I was asked to create and lead a company-wide safety team. I developed the "Safety Empowerment Team," which includes representatives from each division. Since its creation, I have led the team in identifying potential workplace hazards, improving employee awareness, and helping reduce accidents and injuries throughout the company. The team works directly with employees to identify concerns and communicates key safety topics discussed during our monthly safety meetings, creating greater employee involvement and accountability for workplace safety. I am currently managing all three roles over three locations in MD while overseeing the renovations required for a recently acquired 300,000 SF facility.

Operations Manager

Aramark
Oriole Park @ Camden Yards
03.1997 - 12.2000

During my time with Aramark, I held a variety of responsibilities supporting stadium food and beverage operations. I assisted with the interviewing and hiring process for event staff and trained bartenders on responsible alcohol service and over-serving prevention. I also trained all kitchen staff and managed game-day employees throughout the entire stadium.

During the off-season and downtime, I was responsible for ensuring that equipment used throughout the operation was properly maintained and in good working order, coordinating service and repairs when needed. I also worked closely with food and beverage vendors during the off-season to ensure products, services, and overall operations consistently met company quality standards.

Route Driver

Saval Foods
Elkridge, MD
06.1996 - 12.1996

My time with Saval Foods was relatively short, although I thoroughly enjoyed working for the company and gained valuable experience as a driver. I was presented with an incredible opportunity to work at Oriole Park, and as a lifelong fan of the Baltimore Orioles, it was an opportunity I simply could not pass up.

While I do not recall the exact dates of my employment with Saval Foods, I am fond of the time I spent there and the experience I gained. The opportunity at Oriole Park ultimately led me in a new direction and became an important step in my career.

Route Driver Sales Rep

PepsiCo
Baltimore, MD
06.1993 - 05.1996

I started my career with Pepsi as a Merchandiser shortly after graduating from high school. Maintained product displays and stocked customer shelves using available back-stock and newly delivered product.

Advanced to Route Sales Driver by obtaining CDL, responsible for selling, delivering, stocking, and rotating products at customer locations, gaining experience in customer service, sales, inventory management, and route operations.
