I am currently a Paramedic working in Charles County Full-time. I also work as a Paramedic part time in Calvert County. I started my career in EMS when I was 16 years old in high school. I was fortunate enough to participate in the Fire/Rescue and EMS cadet program in high school in which I was able to obtain many certifications such as EMT, Fire I and II, Engine Ops, Hazmat Ops.
I received my associates degree in Emergency Medical Services from CSM in May of 2013, and continued my education at Prince Georges Community College and finished in January 2014 obtaining my certification as a NREMT-P.
I recently completed our Leadership Academy for Supervisors and plan to promote in the near future.
I applied for this job during COVID and trying to assist in aiding a reading county and responding to 911 calls during a Pandemic. I was in the chase car system and gained experience in being a single role ALS provider and responding with multiple BLS companies.
