  • In the backroom at TJ MAXX I work first shift opening at 7AM and its very similar to an inbound warehouse job, we receive pallets from a truck then break those pallets down and proceed to sort through those pallets and boxes until all pallets are sorted. We then proceed to tag and sensor and unwrap everything we have received from those pallets that day. I am also a flexible worker so I also occasionally work up front on registers when they need assistance when we get busy during our shopping rush hours around noon.

Grill / Line worker

  • During my time at chipotle, I was trained for every position (grill, line, back of house, cashier) however my main positions I exceeded in were running the grill and helping customers working on line. While on grill I had high expectations and made sure we had a constant supply of food which got tricky but I still held strong especially during rush hours and high intensity situations at Chipotle. I would often close the store during these days and I also was trained to open and prepare all the cold foods for the day, some days working over 8 hours a day to make sure my team was held up. While on the line I would have to help serve customers at a constant rate and have a sense of urgency during rushes as well.

  • I've worked for Bolder twice, once before quarantine and once after for both about a year. I was a hard working Host as it is a very busy restaurant and they had me working during the best days and trusted me on the busiest days. I would either manage where people would sit and bus their tables, or bring out the food to the tables. I would restock everything needed to be restocked such as to-go bags, rolling silverware, refilling ice/ sauce containers, restocking the expo line, or menus up front and more. I would also close the restaurant often and make sure everything was restocked and in excellent condition for opening shift to be able to open with ease.
