On joining my last project, I managed to learn and contribute to the following:

• Agile Ceremonies & Testing Management: Actively participated in all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning (capacity and story point estimation), Sprint Review (product presentation to stakeholders at the end of each sprint), Sprint Retrospective (improvement activities), Daily Stand-ups, and Bug Triage.
• Automation & Functional Testing: Developed UI automation tests using Playwright and Codecept in TypeScript, and analyzed Allure reports. Performed both frontend and backend testing, including network analysis with dev tools, investigating AWS logs as part of issue tracking, working with MongoDB collections, and generating test data using Postman or Testfully. Created manual test cases in Zephyr and ALM with Gherkin syntax. Managed regression, sanity, smoke, and E2E testing, ensuring timely adjustments and execution of both manual and automated tests.
• Performance & Integration Support: Supported performance testing by analyzing response times and generating large test data volumes. Conducted integration testing, managing more than 5 integrations as part of various test phases and ensuring comprehensive coverage.

For the past six months, I have taken on a leadership role in the project, and in addition to my previous responsibilities:

• I began coordinating the QA team’s work (planning activities before releases, distributing tasks within sprints, etc.), collaborating more closely with stakeholders, and handling client requests.
• Onboarded a new QA member and started collaborating more closely with the management team to improve the capacity calculation for the QA team. I have also been actively involved in the improvement plan regarding automation coverage to speed up the regression process before each release.

• Leadership & Collaboration: Being a lead SQM resource, conducting meetings with Developers and BAs to refine business requirements, analyze issues, and enhance team efficiency. Attended regular sync-up and team meetings to ensure alignment.
• Test Planning & Execution: Designed and executed test cases, created test plans, test suites, dashboards, and test summaries, and performed functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Defect Management & Reporting: Reported and tracked defects, conducted re-testing, and collaborated with the team to resolve issues effectively.
• Data Validation: Designed semi-automated metadata scripts to test tables/views, validate source-to-target mappings, efficiently test dimension and fact tables, and perform regular count validations using various aggregations.

Responsibilities on the 1st project:

• Test Planning & Execution: Conducted requirement analysis, created and executed test cases, performed functional and regression testing, and prepared test plans and summaries.
• Defect Management & Collaboration: Reported and tracked defects in Azure DevOps Server (TFS), worked closely with Developers, BAs, and PMs to enhance product quality and client experience. Worked on improving documentation by reviewing source-to-target mappings with Data Analysts.
• ETL & Data Validation: Performed end-to-end ETL testing, including test data preparation, data loading via Oracle Data Integrator or BMC Control-M, and validation using complex SQL scripts (DML, DDL, TCL). Tested data migration to AWS Redshift.
