Throughout my years as a young welder, I've learned how to fabricate, and the skills that come with welding different materials and thicknesses. Along with learning different skills, I've learned that not everyone is perfect and will make mistakes, but knowing how to cope and improve to fix my mistakes has been most important to me. I enjoy working with others who have a good mindset. I want to improve and work for a company that will help me grow and give me more opportunities to become the welder I want to be.
Tig/Mig welded large evaporator pans.
Inquiries for this job consisted of leveling and measuring out hangers and drains, reading part prints, and leak testing the welds on the unit before sending it to assembly.
Tig/Mig welding on pressure-tested eco-air coil units.
Inquiries for this job consisted of TIG welding large quantities of "U" bends and jumpers on the bells of coils, MIG welding large headers, connections, flanges, and end plugs onto the unit. Reading print parts and understanding the level, angle, and degree asked for specific units, and welding them to the asked measurements.
Cutting apart parts that didn't meet requirements was necessary for both jobs, along with properly cleaning and polishing the material before and after welding.
