  • Rotation with Family of Special Operations Vehicles. Provided support to the FOSOV PM. Travelled to Chesapeake, VA and Crane, IN. Served as Gov rep and assisted with Site surveys for electronics in FOSOV vehicles. Assisted with the overview of FOSOV ongoing efforts including JLTV, MRAP, RG-33, and NSCV in the areas of Integration, NRE, Prototyping, and Sustainment.
  • Assisted with project management of Radio Interoperability Systems. Modernization of local wireless network, UHF radio extender, HF analysis, and stage II radio testing. This project also dealt with interoperability concerns of the public safety radio. Participated in validation that the MPU5 radios can perform the same tasks and operate as efficiently as the ICRI and the REALM radio extender’s pertaining to distance and clarity.
  • Assisted leadership in leading a skilled and effective team in the development, engineering, and testing of the J6 Executive Communications Team’s project. I was part of the team that produced and presented the Technical Design Review to the customer. I also succeeded in developing and tracking a Requirements Traceability Matrix. I have also hosted several weekly meetings with the in-house team to help keep the project running smoothly in the areas of engineering, scheduling, and funding. I worked closely with the in-house financial team to keep project funding on task.
  • Our team succeeded in the creation of a next generation terminal for the Executive Communication Team. We utilized all available resources to put together the best possible solution for the Team that is ready to work anywhere at any time.

My time has been mainly utilized in the testing and test procedure areas.
  • Led a team of CMCS team members in the utilization of the Riverbed WAN program. The Riverbed WAN Accelerator is a hardware device responsible for network performance monitoring and application performance management. We made sure the device was suitable for use out in the field by testing and proving its worthiness.
  • Assisted CMCS Cyber team members by providing Technical Cyber support for the NAWCAD WOLF Information Security System including the areas of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and applicable TW14 Authorities to Operate (ATO’s).
  • Worked with the UCS team to identify and fix several system deficiencies within the program. Additionally, I was placed in charge of frequency coordination for the UCS platform. This allowed the UCS Systems Lead to manage his project more efficiently.
  • Completed SCR, ECR, and ECPs as needed by the UCS platform. I was involved in the following change documents: Secure Voice/ S-CREN, MPU-5 Radio Card, HVAC Obsolescence, UNCLASS Printer replacement (CH VI), MPU-5 connection cable for APX-8000, ADP Modernization (CH VI), and Network Modernization (CH VI). I have attended bi-weekly CCB meetings throughout the year to make sure these documents were sufficient for the program.
