  • Hands-on experience in the safe transportation of hazardous materials and the federal regulations that govern them. Familiarized with hazmat classifications, design and approval process for transport cylinders, the role of pipelines in national infrastructure. Conducted research on using fiber-reinforced polymers as alternative materials for hazmat tank construction and developed a project exploring how AI can help reduce hazardous materials incidents and accidents. Worked under HR, learned federal administrative processes.
