Public safety professional with over 15 years of experience in fire and rescue services and a background in emergency nursing. Progressed from Firefighter to Lieutenant in a large metropolitan department, demonstrating strong leadership and operational command. Expertise in high-pressure emergency response, patient care, and public engagement, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Currently a third-year student at the Carl Holmes Executive Development Institute in New Orleans, LA, a five-year program focused on fire service leadership and professional development.

• Volunteered with the local volunteer fire department in my community to mentor youth and assist in the development of their Junior Firefighter Program.
• Serve as a member of the on-call Public Information Officer (PIO) team, ensuring accurate, timely, and relevant information to appropriate audiences.
• Partner with the Phoenix Sentinels to expand and enhance community outreach programs, fostering stronger communication and creating a positive impact by identifying and addressing the evolving needs within the community.
• Demonstrated a commitment to the 16 Firefighter Life Safety Initiatives by collaborating with Howard County Department Fire and Rescue Services leadership to implement hydration signage across county buildings, promoting firefighter health, wellness, and injury prevention.
