  • Implemented GOWE Program with Objectives of removing obstacles to growth of women’s enterprises using integrated and innovative approach that combines both financial support and advisory services. The program was sponsored by the African Development Bank and implemented by the International Finance Corporation Private Enterprise Partnership for Africa (IFC-PEP Africa).
    • This consisted in:
    o Conducting in Depth analysis of proposed projects, financial statements in order to determine eligibility of the potential sponsor
    o Negotiating with interested parties on loan and/or guarantees terms as well as contractual obligations
    o Lowering the collateral requirements and therefore enhancing access to finance to business women
    o Building the management and technical capacity of small businesses in order to support sustained growth.
    o Strengthening the capacity of business development services (BDS) providers, financial institutions and Women Enterprise Associations (WEAs) to provide relevant and adequate services to their members.
  • Met with project stakeholders on regular basis to assess progress and make adjustments.

Capacity Building

  • Consultant of the African Development Bank in the training of women executive under the GOWE (Growth Oriented Women Entrepreneurs) program. This included following topics: Export Help Desk, e- commerce opportunities, certifications, and quality requirements. As result we trained about 1500 business women, 26 trainers and mentors, and 20 association leaders.
  • Organized seminars and presented various business topics as access to international market, mastering of supply chain, inventory management, Cost analysis;
  • Worked with the Cameroon Chamber of Commerce in training business people on AGOA requirements, Management techniques, Accounting, Human resources, Marketing, communications, negotiations etc.
