I received my early education at Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School, where I began developing the foundation for my future in healthcare. I am currently a nursing student at Notre Dame of Maryland University, pursuing my dream of becoming a nurse. During my time at the university, I have been actively involved in several campus organizations, holding leadership roles such as President of the Student Nursing Organization and being inducted into the National Honor Society of Nurses. I also participate in multiple other student groups, which has allowed me to grow as both a leader and a team member.
Outside of academics, I dedicated four years to playing basketball at my school, serving as a captain for two of those years. Although I have since stepped away from the sport, that experience taught me discipline, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that I now apply to my nursing journey. I chose to focus fully on nursing because it has always been my passion and my ultimate career goal.
Through my clinical experiences, I have had the opportunity to care for patients in a variety of settings, which has strengthened my skills, confidence, and commitment to the nursing profession. Each step of my journey continues to reaffirm my dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and to growing as a healthcare professional.
