Some helpful skills I have acquired while employed as a fast-food worker include:

• Customer Service: Interacting with a wide variety of customers to create a friendly and welcoming environment while maintaining a correct ordering process.
• POS Systems: Using a point-of-sale system to conduct transactions and handle money both physically and electronically.
• Safe Food Handling: Following guidelines to ensure food is prepared correctly, efficiently, and neatly.
• Cleaning: Following given cleaning protocols to ensure that the work environment is clean, presentable, and up to food safety standards.
• Employee Training: Trains new insiders to follow the standard practices followed including making food, safety protocols, and work functionality.
• Workplace Cooperation: Works together with multiple other employees to conduct a functioning and comfortable environment.

Learned important skills during my time housekeeping:

• Patient Care: Directly working with patients ensuring that their living spaces are clean, comfortable, and up to standard. Ensures morale is sustained and provides help when needed.
• Extensive Cleaning: Cleaning multiple aspects within the facilities daily such as bathrooms, nursing stations, floors, meeting rooms, offices, recreational areas, dining spaces, outdoor areas, as well as patient rooms.
• Linen Dispersing: Providing new linen and towels weekly or as needed as well as collecting soiled linen to be cleaned to ensure maintained comfort and cleanliness standards.
• Room Maintenance: Ensures rooms are clean, presentable, and up to standard for new patients.
• Departmental Communication: Works with my own team as well as other departments to ensure procedures are carried out effectively, communication remains steady, and patients receive the proper care they need.
