- - Screen patients and obtain detailed medical and ocular histories
- - Perform comprehensive vision testing and refractions
- - Measure intraocular pressure and corneal thickness (pachymetry)
- - Conduct diagnostic testing including OCT scans, visual fields, fundus photography, corneal topography, and auto-refractor
- - Operate advanced equipment including IOL Master for cataract surgery measurements
- - Prepare and set up laser equipment including DSLT Laser, YAG Capsulotomy, YAG iridotomy
- Assist with minor surgical procedures using sterile technique
- - Administer eye drops, including dilation, under physician supervision
- - Triage patient concerns and prioritize care appropriately
- - Send prescriptions, manage prescription refills, and coordinate patient care
- - Handle medical records: scanning, releasing, and transmitting records securely
- - Communicate with patients via phone and email, including sending MVA screening forms
- - Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- - Ensure clinic efficiency through strong organization and time management
- - Deliver excellent patient service with a positive and professional attitude
