  • Organized and developed curriculum for Elevator and Escalator training
  • Developed and organized a journeyman refresher class. The refresher class consist of a newly installed KONE 180 and 190 escalator in the WMATA transit system. Constructed and developed the curriculum for the class that consist of an overview description of both models the KONE 180 and 190 and routine maintenance on both systems.
  • Conducted a mechanics class for the Elevator and Escalator apprentice program that deals with motor and gear alignments, belt drives, chain drives, and precision measurements.
  • Supported and assisted with phase 3 Elevator Training at the Potomac Yard station project. Training consists of familiarization of the newly installed hydraulic elevator for maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Performed training for the Fire Rescue service departments in the DMV for all jurisdictions. Training consists of how to safely remove customers out of the Elevator during an entrapment.
  • Trained journeymen on heavy repair of Escalators throughout the WMATA system.
  • Trained station managers with a familiarization class on how to properly monitor the escalator performance and what is deemed safe for the riders and how to deal with Elevate entrapments.
