Aircraft Mechanic (Avionic/Electrical) being responsible for troubleshooting malfunctions in various aircraft systems and performs general mechanical maintenance of the assigned aircraft. Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness.

Avionics Technician

Served 20 years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. Worked on the SH-60B for 17 years and 3 years on the P3-C. Where I performed organizational level maintenance on SH60B, SH60F, HH60H, SH60J, and P3-C avionics systems, including Communications, Radar, Navigation, Electronic surveillance measures, Data link, FLIR, Wire system repair and weapons systems. I qualified as an SH60B plane captain for 15 years. I was also qualified as a plane captain on SH-60F, HH-60J, HH-60H and VH-60 for 2 years. Served as QAR, CD/QAR and CDI for 15 years on Avionics system, Corrosion, Ordnance systems, and ALSS systems. CAD/ Ordnance qualified on all aircraft CADS, QA/SO, Team leader and team member on MK46/50 torpedoes and Penguin anti-ship missiles, chaff and flares.

I also served as Work center supervisor/ Detachment LPO for 12 years. Coordinating and supervising work center work/ Detachment load. Ensuring all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance was completed in a timely and safe manner. Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed correctly. Ensuring all programs were adhered to according to the 4790.2 series.

I possessed a secret security clearance during my career in the U.S. Navy.
