The Program Director for Family Preservation, Connecting Youth and Family Engagement provides strategic leadership, oversight, and day-to-day management of programs designed to strengthen families, prevent youth out-of-home placement, and promote meaningful youth and family engagement. This role ensures program excellence through trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based practices while fostering strong partnerships with families, community stakeholders, and funders.

The Program Director is responsible for program design, staff supervision, compliance, outcomes measurement, and continuous quality improvement to ensure families remain safely together and youth achieve positive, sustainable outcomes.

• The Family Preservation Program Director provides strategic, administrative, and clinical oversight of family preservation services designed to prevent out-of-home placement of children and strengthen family functioning. The Director ensures high-quality, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed services while maintaining compliance with funding, licensing, and child welfare regulations. This role involves leadership of multidisciplinary staff, collaboration with child welfare and community partners, and responsibility for program outcomes, budgets, and continuous quality improvement.

• In-Home Family Therapist provides intensive, short-term, home-based therapeutic services to families at risk of removal or family disruption. Therapists work collaboratively with caregivers and children to strengthen family functioning, improve safety, enhance parenting skills, and reduce risk factors while promoting long-term stability and permanency

• Delivered intensive case management services to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral needs in therapeutic foster homes.
  Coordinated treatment services to ensure comprehensive support for clients and foster families.
  Advocated for child safety, stability, and permanency throughout care processes.
  Ensured compliance with regulatory standards governing therapeutic foster care operations.

• Provided supervised clinical services to individuals, families, and groups during practicum internship.
  Conducted assessments and developed treatment plans in collaboration with licensed clinician.
  Executed therapeutic interventions while adhering to academic and professional standards.
