  • Working with multiple stakeholders to develop cross-department strategies to recruit and maintain the current Referee Corps for the sport of rowing
  • Develop personal strategies in project management to facilitate detail-oriented and challenging projects to enhance USRowing Referee experience both in person and online
  • Manage the logistics of approximately 480 volunteers to ensure travel, payments, continued training and certification of Referees
  • Collaborate with other staff at USRowing to facilitate and meet the needs of USRowing Referees at USRowing-owned events
  • Develop other skills as needed to ensure proper communication and facilitation for the needs of USRowing Referees
  • Development of Beach Sprint Rules of Rowing and Local Organizing Committee Guidelines
  • Development and maintenance of governing documents for USRowing, including the Rules of Rowing, Referee Operations Manual, Local Organizing Committee Manual, and Referee Internal Operating Procedures
  • Noteworthy Accomplishment: Challenge: Identify critical issues within the USRowing Referee Corps, specifically an aging population with little to no flexibility
  • Action Taken: I worked closely with the Chair of the Referee Committee and Workgroup to develop a comprehensive overhaul of the rank structure of the Referee Committee, as well as working with the Regional Coordinators to develop regional recruitment strategies
  • Result: The current leveling system is being implemented with the support of the USRowing and Referee Committee
  • Achievement: A significant increase in retention of referees from the previous year

  • Tackled the role of re-developing educational content of the recruiting process including re-imagination of education curriculum and implementing new strategies to enhance recruiting educational curriculum
  • Consistently meet and exceed goals for number of athletes committed to college rowing programs
  • Achieved a ranking 4th out of 88 (January 1, 2021 to January 1, 2022) based on metrics, as well as bringing in $95,000 in revenue through June of 2022 (despite being in a back-end role with the company)
  • From April 2019 – April 2020, achieved a client retention rate of 99.49 and a placement rate of 90.48
  • Chosen as 'Recruiting Coach of the Month' based upon revenue and referrals generated
  • Captains pick in January 2021 for work done on core course curriculum and presentations
  • Noteworthy Accomplishment: Challenge: I identified an issue with programs/classes offered by NCSA that were confusing to clients
  • Additionally, metrics were not in use to track the success of the programs/classes
  • Action Taken: I evaluated the classes being offered and gauged attendance rates and scores
  • I saw major issues with product offerings, and I developed 4 new product offerings to better align with the company’s message
  • I then evaluated the best presenters from within the company’s talent pool
  • Result: I successfully identified appropriate class schedules and aligned the top presenters
  • To date, the program is running effectively with 100% of classes scheduled being offered
  • I am documenting and evaluating the metrics and am collaborating with marketing to promote the classes
  • Achievement: Viewership doubled and there are now excellent reviews from customers
