  • Workstation assignment board. Filled in the work station assignment board on a daily basis based on the day of the week, number of technicians available and the skill level of each technician. This helped to ensure that each task was assigned and completed on a daily basis as well as the workstations being covered.
  • Schedule writing. Wrote the schedule for up to 17 technicians at a time for a 2 week time frame each month. I kept track of who was part time and who was full time along with paying attention to busy times, peak times and holidays.

  • Pick up workstation. Utilized the register to help assist customers with picking up their prescriptions. I had to be familiar with insurance company's and basic understanding of insurance rejections and co- pays. Great customer service skills.
  • Production workstation. Had to use the computer system to match prescription labels with prescription drugs using the NDC numbers to ensure accuracy. Was able to multi task by filling prescriptions while answering the phones and directing all calls.
  • Drop off workstation. Had to use the computer system to interpret prescriptions from the doctor for the patients with knowledge of SIG codes and Insurance codes. Each of the 3 workstations required positive interaction with customers both in person and on the phone.
  • Inventory. As the inventory specialist was in charge of accurate counting of the drugs (cycle counts) and accurate order from both our warehouse and our outside vendor distributors. Had on target knowledge of our customers needs, to help ensure in stock status for their medications.
