Motivated and results-oriented team player with a strong desire to contribute to a dynamic team.
I greet the members as they enter and give them well wishes as they leave. I deal with a multitude of member based questions and issues. The entire job could really be summed up as being a problem solver. Other duties include cleaning the building and being observant of all happenings.
This was my grandfather's moving company that I started working for at around 13-14 years old. My duties included keeping our truck and warehouse tidy. It was a big lesson for organization and cleanliness. If our warehouse wasn't organized properly it would inconvenience us. We were military contracted, meaning we would be chosen to move people in and out of military bases. Lots of physical labor, until my grandfather passed and my uncle named me "Interim Manager" where then I had to start scheduling, surveying and organizing our jobs for my crew.
At Queen City, I was truly a Swiss Army Knife. My entire first 4 months working there was all cleaning. Cleaning the lot, pulling weeds, painting, taking out the trash, driving cars that were being fixed cars, and taking trips to the dump with truckloads of whatever and unloading them. They would come up with projects that needed done and i would complete them as requested. The latter half of my time there they assigned me to car washing for half of the day, and the other half I spent helping out their 'Media' team. The media work was mostly filling templates on a computer with information on each car, printing them out, cutting and laminating them, and then fixing them in the windows of the cars.
I was constantly being cross trained and thrown into different positions at this job. I was primarily a lot attendant, in which I was tasked to keep the lot clean and the carts organized. But, any tie they asked I'd hop onto cashier, or manage the self checkout, or even stock groceries on shelves when they needed.
