Observing their growth and the impact of my guidance was very rewarding.

• My observership at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio in 2019 was a transformative experience that pushed me to pursue a medical career in the USA. Immersed in a culture of medical excellence and patient-centered care, I witnessed the integration of different technology means that I never witnessed back in my country and participated in compassionate practice.
• Collaborating with esteemed physicians, especially my supervisor Dr Basem abdelmalak MD, I gained insights into the innovative approaches and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Growing up with a dad who is an internist for almost 35 years, gave me an insight of what a competent compassionate physician can change in the lives of his patients. I worked with him in his private clinic as an observer.

• Engaged a distinguished audience of physicians and healthcare experts, effectively communicating knowledge on SGLT2 inhibitors' impact on diabetic kidney disease and heart failure.

• My volunteer experience shaped my pursuit of a residency in internal medicine. These journeys have unveiled the need for accessible healthcare and reinforced my commitment to making a difference. In these villages, I saw the reality of healthcare disparities. Limited resources meant preventable illnesses often went untreated.

• Something that helped shape my personality is my passion towards table tennis. I started playing table tennis when I was 13. I believe that you cannot have a healthy mind without a healthy body and table tennis helped me stay active and worked as a destressing tool.
• Cultivated resilience and adaptability through commitment to ping pong, returning to training in the third year of medical school despite demanding academic pressures.
