• Co-author on three bacteriophage genomes in NCBI, accession numbers: OQ938581, OQ938586, and OQ995431

Member of Phi Delta Epsilon:

• participate in service learning opportunities around the Baltimore area, that are provided to the pre-medical professional fraternity. Served as the chair of the academic committee to connect active members to tutoring and advise if necessary.

Coptic Club President 2023, Vice President 2021: 

• Foster a community for Coptic Orthodox Christians through different fellowship/volunteer opportunities and inviting speakers. Plan out the semester with University of Maryland College Park's Coptic Club.

Youth Group Leader, St. George COC, 2018-present:

• Active member of the church community, help in Sunday school services and organize events and retreats.

Sports Service Vice president, 2016-present:

• Planning technology free sport events that target Elementary and Middle school age kids with the goal to instill important life values and skills in younger generations. Provide volunteering events with different organizations around our community that the kids must complete every semester.

1,000 Smiles, 2018-present:

• Project I helped start in which we organize 1,000 meals and bags of clothes to give out to the homeless in Franklin Park, DC, every other month. Work with different grocery stores to receive food donations and plan fundraisers to support the rest of the material cost.

Sponsor with Coptic Orphans, 2020- present: 

• Sponsor an orphan to ensure they have access to an education and financially support their basic needs. Go on mission trips to teach orphans and meet my sponsored child.
