Previous Experience

Audited files before closing to make sure the debt ratio did not exceed what the underwriter conditioned for. If ratios exceeded the file was sent back to underwriting prior to the loan being able to close. Cleared Mavent fails prior to the loan closing. Prepared change of circumstances when information in the system changed., After performing such an excellent job as a prefunding auditor, I was interviewed to become an underwriter., I became a junior underwriter and quickly advanced to getting my DE - Direct Endorsement to underwrite FHA - Federal Housing Administration loans., I underwrote 3 to 4 loans a day plus conditions needed to be reviewed. Conditions varied per day. We had a 48 hour turnaround for new files and a 24 hour turnaround for conditions.
