I help coordinate new volunteer opportunities by organizing event dates and communicating with partner facilities. I also contribute to brainstorming sessions where we develop creative ideas and campaigns to raise awareness and increase engagement.
Through the AKBF Service-Learning Program, I learned about the importance of kidney health, especially within minority communities, and the common causes of kidney failure. I gained valuable knowledge on how diet, lifestyle, and regular health checkups can help prevent kidney-related diseases.
