- Sorting and organizing shipments by destination, SKU, or department
- Inspecting goods for damage, missing items, or incorrect quantities
- Scanning or labeling inventory to track products in the system
- Stacking and staging freight safely on pallets, racks, or conveyor belts
- Following safety procedures for lifting, equipment use, and dock operations
- Keeping the dock area clean and organized to prevent hazards
- Communicating with supervisors or team members about load status or issues
- Meeting productivity and time goals, especially during high-volume shifts
