
A driven college student in her junior year of university committed to academic excellence while balancing part-time employment for financial independence. Anticipating graduation in spring 2027 with a Bachelors degree in Applied Science: Architecture and Environmental Design after having had received an Associates degree in Applied Sciences: Architectural Engineering last spring 2025. Passionate about integrating practical experience with theoretical knowledge to contribute meaningfully to the field of architecture. Having moved from a small town state the the big city she is eager to leverage skills and education to create innovative and sustainable designs that meet the needs of diverse communities.
The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is a school organization specifically designated for students going for architectural majors. I was elected president by my class in October of 2023. With this title, I will have the responsibility of conducting meetings, setting up fundraisers and helping plan group events. I was able to built up an abundance of volunteer hours working fundraisers and events for AIAS.
The PTK is a branch of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. You are offered a membership into the program if your GPA is above a 3.8. As a part of this organization you are required to complete volunteer hours and attend monthly meetings while maintaining an adequate GPA.
The Presidential Student Leadership Academy (PSLA) is a program designed to help students develop their leadership skills and appreciate our nation’s cultures and history. This program gives a limited list of students the opportunity to meet and build professional relationships with the directors and administrators of the school. In this program we are required to read the book The Boy In Striped Pajamas and have monthly discussion groups and boards along with taking a trip to DC to tour the Holocaust museum and the African America Museum.
When volunteering at this event I was given the job of working alongside the Delaware Technical Community College Culinary Arts Program students to prepare food for the guests of the 5k. I was responsible for peeling oranges, filling food trays and dispersing hot chocolate to guests during the event.
As a member of the AIAS I was responsible for creating and running many fundraisers throughout the year including a Valentines bake sale and a Halloween bake sale that was meant to raise funds for group projects and events.
