I'm Ukrainian born, self-motivated Captain holding additional engineer's license, which is looking for the opportunity to other challenge. Following graduation from the maritime college, I moved on to a long-thought career in shipping, ship management and operations and was obtain a "Masters Ticket" in 1996. In 2007 was offered position as Master in KOMROWSKI A.G., Hamburg Germany under MARLOW NAVIGATION (CYPRUS) Management. Since that fateful day, I am remaining with Bulk Carriers from Handy size to Cape size, sailing with different Shipping Companies. In order to, further enhance my credentials I over the past years successfully undertook a wide number of additional related courses gaining substantial international operation and management experience throughout shipping business. I'm Former Member of RIN (Royal Institute of Navigation) and a Member of International Association of Marine Consultants and Surveyors. The above expansive skill sets have enabled me to succeed in building up a solid professional career in Merchant Shipping, taking part in day-to-day management of vessel and operating staff as Merchant Navy Master, participating in the safe ship operation, including the management of resources, processes, procedures, business relationship and documentation. I am experienced an "Old Man" leading maritime operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of vessel navigation and crew performance. Skilled in route planning, regulatory compliance, and emergency response. Proven track record in optimizing operational costs, enhancing vessel performance, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Working with multinational crews, I learned to be a very good negotiator and how to get the best out of everyone, but in the same time to keep all parties happy, for a job well done.
