Represents the Department in internal and external matters and serves as County’s lead and principal liaison for state transit and highway projects in Prince George’s County, as well as, chief liaison to the regional planning agencies.


Critical duties include, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing the development, writing and advance of the County’s Annual Transportation Priority Letter to the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT).
  • Appointed by the Office of the County Executive’s as the County’s designated Project Manager for the Maryland Purple Line Light Rail Project. Represents the County on all facets of the Project, as well as, coordinating the response on all programmatic submittals.
  • Leading County response and effort on the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Southside Express Lane (SEL) Study
  • County Representative on the Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG) Transportation Planning Board (TPB).
  • Appointed to serve as 2025 Technical Committee Chair for the TPB.
  • Leads County's contributions to the update of the TPB Visualize 2050 (the National Capital Region's Long Range Transportation Plan and the Transportation Improvement Program.
