Accomplishments

In 1999, I took over Benjamin Franklin's Middle School basketball program before we were transformed into a high school in 2008. While there we managed 4 straight middle school championships with hard work and dedication. We became a high school in 2008-2009, which became a JV year for us. Since then,we have managed 234 wins in a very tough Baltimore City league. I am super proud of the culture and winning tradition that we have developed. More than that, we boast a 98% graduation rate and 96% attendance for athletes in our program.

  • Facilitated culture by enacting the Excel model of teaching.
  • Built the high school varsity program from the ground up, with willing athletes who cared about succeeding.
  • Employed former players from our program as coaches on our staff,
