As a Head of Crewing Department I was responsible for:

• Searching and hiring of employees
• Interviewing with candidates.
• Ensure mandatory crew documentation is on file prior to crew embarkation.
• Researching travel solution and booking flights, train, bus tickets for our crew.
• Preparing and sending out travel information to crew, vessel, operations and agents.
• Commuincation with agents while arranging crew change.
• Communication with crew member starting from the first call to the embarking of the vessel.
• Providing 24 hours assistance for crew members while they are on the way to the vessel.

As a second officer I was responsible for:

• Safety and navigation of the ship, working in a watch pattern.
• Maintenance of the ship’s safety equipment, with the support of the rest of the bridge team.
• Regular inspections of LSA and FFE.

As the Third Officer I was responsible for:

• Navigation,
• Updating of charts, and software.
• Overseing navigational and radio equipment
• Navigational watches at sea.
• Working with documents (Company Reports, Pre Arrival Forms and so on)
