As a fun, motivated, and creative teacher, I do believe that every child learns differently in their own way, and it is our responsibility as an educator to cater to their unique learning needs. My teaching philosophy is the idea that when students feel seen, supported, they will achieve their fullest potential. To foster this idea, my goal is to create an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, loved and inspired to learn. To achieve inclusivity, I plan on using differentiated instruction, by incorporating diverse materials and activities, and to foster a culture of respect and collaboration. Through hands-on experiences, interactive lessons, and opportunities for self-expression, I ensure that all my students have access to suitable learning accommodations that fits their individual learning styles, whether they learn best through visual, auditory, or kinesthetic methods. For me, evidence of student learning goes beyond testing. It mainly includes their ability to follow direction, apply what was taught, demonstrate growth in confidence, and actively participate in the learning process. Whether it’s a student mastering a new skill, engaging in group work or asking related questions, I observe their progress by seeing the knowledge they gain and the joy they find in learning. In the end my goal is to foster a supportive and fun classroom environment where my students not only meet academic milestones but also develop a love for learning.
