Served as Class Liaison for the Class of 2028, contributing to both the class council and the Executive SGA. Helped plan events like candy grams, merchandise sales, and restaurant funraisers, raising over $400, and played a key role in school wide initiatives like Spirit Days, Mental Health Awareness Day, and Coffeehouse while representing student voices in decision making.
I competed in Public Forum debate through the BCFL and NSDA, earning a gold medal in the Junior Varsity division and advancing to the varsity team as a freshman. Through participation in numerous tournaments, I honed my skills in research, collaboration, argumentation, and analysis.
Volunteered at multiple food drives with the Indian Cultural Association, organizing and distributing food to families in need. Additionally, I designed and set up a photo booth for the association’s annual event, helping promote Indian culture and attract a large number of attendees.
Held a leadership role in the Folly Quarter Cultural Club, helping organize my school’s Cultural Night event. Coordinated participants, managed logistics, served as the on stage MC, leading both setup and cleanup to ensure its success.
Selected by audition to perform as a trumpet player in the Folly Quarter Gold Jazz Band, an advanced ensemble. Participated in multiple competitions and festivals throughout Howard County, representing the school in high level musical performances.
Participated in the MESA Mobile App Challenge, developing Step Forward, an app promoting physical and mental health using MIT App Inventor. Our team won first place at the county level and secured second place at the state competition.
