At Chopt, I was a salad maker and would swap as cashier when needed. At chopt, I learned how to cut salad’s , make burritos, properly mop / sweep , etc. Some of the responsibilities I had were to take out the trash, take the used dishes downstairs, fill the snacks, etc. Chopt was my second job ever and although I didn’t stay there long, it taught me lessons and skills that I still use in my everyday life.
As a Barista / cashier at Tea mansion, with it being my first job I learned a lot. To start off, I used to make tea’s, milk tea’s, ice tea’s , etc. My boss at the time had a daily quota to meet within selling tea bags, this was my first experience in sales and once I got the hang of it , it was no longer rocket science and something I would freely go about. After a while of working at Tea mansion, I earned the boss’ respect and was left the store key to open and close the store. This was a major responsibility, with me being 15 years old I took on the responsibility of going through opening and closing procedures such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, etc. Although the working conditions on the inside weren’t quite gentle, it’s safe to say that I gained a lot of experience from working there.
